Job summary

Saint Luke’s is seeking a PRN Exercise Physiologist for the Nuclear Cardiology Department at the Plaza. The role involves independent stress testing, supervising nuclear stress tests with RN support, starting IVs, interpreting EKGs, and preparing patients and charts for imaging studies.

Rotating day shifts with coverage across the Plaza locations, with as-needed scheduling and potential travel to multiple metro sites. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of applicable experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing independently.

• Start IVs and monitor patients during imaging.
• Interpret arrhythmias and respond to abnormal EKGs.

We are hiring a PRN Exercise Physiologist for our Nuclear Cardiology Department at the Plaza.

The Shift

Days-Rotating shifts of 7:00am-3:30pm and 8:00am-4:30pm, will float to the 4 metro locations as needed.

Rotating schedule working as needed

The Work

Independently perform stress testing. In conjunction with RN, supervises exercise and pharmacologic nuclear stress testing. Starts IVs. Interpret and recognize arrhythmias and respond to abnormal EKG interpretations. Prepare the patient for their imaging study including gathering of clinical data and preparation of the room and the chart prior to the visit time. Assist with follow up instructions to the patient under the direction of the provider or nurse clinician.
