Exercise Intelligence Cell (EIC) Scripter (PTOC)

Quantico, VA

The Exercise Intelligence Cell (EIC) Scripter reports to the MSTP Project Manager and receives work direction derivatives from the EIC Lead, and the Adversary Force (ADFOR) Section Head.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, script, and synchronize intelligence injects, coordinating with MESL, Storyline, EXCON, ADFOR, and functional controllers.
  • Operate intelligence simulations and deliver intelligence injects into the exercise environment, troubleshoot and refine inject execution, and produce injects derived from Training Audience activity and scripted national, theater, service, coalition, and nonorganic entities.
  • Ensure intelligence injects align with Training Audience intelligence objectives, scenario design, and ISR collection plans.
  • Contribute to scenario development, storyline refinement, and intelligence related Exercise Agreement materials.
  • Review Training Audience intelligence products and plans to identify gaps, decision points, and inject opportunities.
  • Participate in planning conferences and working groups to support scenario and inject development.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree is required (operations research, computer science, management, military science, or equivalent area desired).
  • Minimum three years of experience in military training and education. Appropriate level of Professional Military Education (PME), such as Intermediate Level School is required. Attendance at SAW or Top-Level School is preferred.
  • Attendance at MAGTF Intel Officer’s Course, or equivalent, is desired.
EXPERIENCE
  • Demonstrated staff level experience with JOPP/MCPP at the Division, Wing, or MLG level, including deployment and employment of ground, aviation, supporting arms, and combat service support units.
  • Minimum six years of operational intelligence experience, with at least three years in a MAGTF or major subordinate command desired.
  • Minimum three years of applied knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, operational level command relationships, and experience in DoD modeling and simulation.
  • Direct participation in real world operations is desired.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Able to design and write clear communications and present training programs.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills required. Proficient in the entire suite of MS Office and able to quickly learn additional systems. Familiarity with SharePoint and C2PC is desired.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus
  • Daily travel in local area during workday (including use of personal vehicle)
  • Be able to work an unstable schedule, to include holidays and weekends.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
  • CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required for up to three weeks at a time (or longer)
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • A Secret security clearance is required for this position.
  • This position also requires a completed Personnel Security Investigation that will qualify the incumbent to be eligible for access to at least the TS-SCI level, and the individual must be read-in for NATO level access.
ESTIMATED COMPENSATION
  • $70,000-$170,000
