Job summary

Peraton seeks an Intelligence Planner specialized in Exercise and Training to support USCYBERCOM J2 at Fort Meade, MD. You will integrate intelligence support into joint exercise events, represent J2/JIOC at planning sessions, and help develop cyber scenario and intelligence scripts for MSEL events.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including work within the last 2 years.
• Working knowledge of intelligence planning concepts, exercise planning processes, and IC/DoD classification guidelines.
• Proficiency in producing timely, logical analytic reports and exercise products in Microsoft Office formats.
• Ability to evaluate and synthesize multiple sources of information using structured analytic techniques.
• Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% (CONUS and OCONUS); valid passport required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate intelligence support into combined and joint exercise and training events per JOPES.
• Represent USCYBERCOM J2/JIOC at exercise Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) and CyMAT events.
• Assist exercise intelligence planners in objective development, cyber scenario development, and intelligence support scripting.
• Develop MSEL events and implementer products for exercises.
• Support exercise execution including white cell participation and After Action Report preparation.
• Review and report on Strategic Guidance applicable to cyberspace intelligence for exercises.
• Assess Intelligence Planning and recommend production adjustments to support exercises.
• Provide trip reports or summaries after exercise participation.
• Draft and respond to policy and strategy inquiries in a timely manner.
• Document Operating Instructions (OIs) for command-wide programs and initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent USCYBERCOM J2/JIOC at exercise Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) and Cyber Mission Area Training (CyMAT) events
• Assist exercise intelligence planners in exercise objective development, cyber scenario development, and intelligence support scripting
• Develop Cyber Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) events and implementer products
• Provide support to exercise execution including white cell participation, assessment, andAfter ActionReport preparation
• Review and report on Strategic Guidance applicable to cyberspace intelligence support to exercises and training
• Assess Intelligence Planning and recommend production adjustments necessary to support combined and joint exercises
• Provide trip reports or summaries as required following exercise participation
• Demonstrate proficiency and timeliness in drafting and responding to policy and strategy inquiries
• Document Operating Instructions (OIs) for Command-wide programs and initiatives

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including work within the last 2 years.Master's degree in a related field, or a Bachelor's plus 5 additional years of senior-level experience (17 years total).
• Working knowledge of intelligence planning concepts, exercise planning processes, and IC/DoD classification guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports and exercise products in Microsoft Office formats
• Proficiency evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information using structured analytic techniques
• Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% (CONUS and OCONUS); valid passport required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience withIntellipedia, SharePoint, PAC, BICES, Chippewa,Stoneghost,Ispace,GCENext, or unclassified VTC programs
• Background in joint exercise planning, JELC processes, or cyber exercise development
• Experience developing MSEL events, exercise scenarios, or intelligence support scripts
• Familiarity with USCYBERCOM J2/JIOC exercise planning processes
• Knowledge of cyberspace operations exercise frameworks and training objectives

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
