Job summary

SAIC in Pearl City, Hawaii is seeking an Exercise Event Planner to coordinate and manage exercise training events for USPACOM, producing and managing event support and facility documentation. You will handle virtual collaboration, schedules, and SharePoint sites, working with military, civilian, and contractor personnel to confirm IT/COMMS requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience (or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six+ years of related experience; additional four years of experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with Microsoft TEAMS and establishing video teleconference (VTC) meetings.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Connect, Microsoft SharePoint and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Must possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage virtual collaboration and maintain relevant exercise support data on SharePoint.
• Manage virtual collaboration sessions; S-VTC, Global Video Services (GVS), TEAMS, Adobe Connect and other apps.
• Develop and maintain event support and facility documentation including event support plans, POAM slide decks, requirement charts, and workflows.
• Work with military, civilian and contractor personnel to identify, verify and track all event IT, COMMS, and System/Network requirements.
• Implement and manage access and badging process for each exercise/event.
• Create, manage, and disseminate event floor plans for transitions and execution.
• Work with the Event Support team to produce event IM/KM brief.
• Create and present the PWC Facility Brief for each event.
• Create and manage exercise and facility SharePoint sites as well as daily agendas and schedules.
• Process travel documents for deployed events as assigned.
• Work with a small team to input and manage the internal calendar.
• Communicate with and lead meetings with USINDOPACOM leadership and planners.
