Job summary

Bluegrass Supply Chain Services is hiring a Vice President of Operations to lead our multi-state 3PL network from the Bowling Green, Kentucky headquarters. This hands-on executive owns the P&L and sets strategy for warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and value-added services across six states.

The role requires 10+ years in operations leadership, multi-site oversight, and strong experience with WMS and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive operations leadership in 3PL, contract logistics, warehousing, distribution, or fulfillment.
5+ years leading multi-site operations through directors, regional leaders, or senior managers.
Demonstrated full P&L ownership and a record of improving service, safety, productivity, cost, and retention.
Experience opening new facilities or launching major customer accounts.
Strong working knowledge of WMS, labor management, KPI scorecards, and continuous improvement.
Executive-level communication skills, a hands-on leadership style, and willingness to travel regularly across a six-state footprint.

Responsibilities

Lead and optimize a multi-state 3PL network with full P&L accountability.
Drive service quality, safety, productivity, and cost-to-serve improvements.
Oversee multi-site operations with a focus on onboarding and scaling facilities.
