Job summary

Evolve Transporters is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and align operations across multiple sites in the Indianapolis and Cleveland markets. This executive role requires hands-on leadership on the shop floor and close collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Finance, and external partners to drive scalable, cost-conscious execution.

Qualifications

15+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership (VP, GM, COO, or equivalent).
Multi-site operational leadership experience.
Background in heavy, specialty, or custom manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated success building teams, systems, and operating discipline.
Strong working knowledge of Lean principles, standard work, and operational metrics.

Responsibilities

Lead and integrate all operational activities across multiple sites.
Build scalable systems and ensure high-quality execution in production, refurbishment, service, and growth initiatives.
Develop and coach site leaders; establish clear ownership and escalation paths.
