Job summary

Trade Compliance Recruiting Solutions invites a senior leader to serve as Vice President of Trade Compliance near Boston, overseeing high-volume import compliance operations and regulatory governance. The role drives adherence to U.S.

and international trade rules, and optimizes cross-border logistics in a fast-paced retail environment. The position demands 10+ years in trade compliance, strong leadership, and the ability to manage audit programs and external counsel relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of trade compliance experience.
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of import compliance; HTS, COO, Valuations, FTA, PGAs, etc.
• Licensed US Customs Broker (LCB) preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required

Responsibilities

• Oversee governance of compliance controls, policies, and procedures across a rapidly changing retail product and regulatory environment
• Ensure adherence to U.S. and global trade regulations
• Lead risk management strategies to identify, assess, and manage regulatory risk
• Embed trade compliance into cross-border logistics and supply chain workflows through internal and external partnerships
• Serve as the primary authority engaging with government import agencies, regulatory authorities, and external counsel
• Apply best-in-class trade compliance processes and global trade systems across the organization
• Build, lead, and coach high-performing trade compliance teams
