Frey Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Director of Global Trade Compliance to lead the worldwide trade compliance function for a global manufacturing organization. This executive role ensures adherence to U.S.

and international import/export regulations while supporting strategic growth and overseeing programs, risk management, and a distributed team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in trade compliance, with deep regulatory knowledge, team leadership experience, and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive trade compliance experience in a global context.
Deep knowledge of U.S. and international import/export regulations.
Experience leading enterprise-wide compliance programs and global teams.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the global trade compliance strategy and governance framework.
Ensure compliance with U.S. and international import/export, customs, and sanctions regulations.
Oversee global compliance operations, audits, licensing, and risk management initiatives.
Partner with executive leadership, legal, supply chain, and business teams to support strategic growth while minimizing risk.
Lead and develop a global team, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and oversee audits and compliance matters.
