Job summary

Vitality Group in Dallas, Texas seeks a Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety to provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of EHS operations across multiple business units and regions. This role partners with Presidents and Operations leadership to embed EHS into broader business objectives and drive safety excellence.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in EHS leadership within large construction environments, with multi-state experience and CSP/CHST certification.

Qualifications

20+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience.
Multi-state, national or enterprise-level EHS leadership within a construction organization.
CSP, CHST or equivalent certification highly valued.

Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of EHS operations across multiple business units, regions and construction markets.
Partner with Presidents, Business Unit Leaders and project leadership to integrate EHS strategy into broader objectives.
Lead, develop and mentor regional and business-unit EHS leaders while building organizational capability and succession within the safety organization.
Establish consistent expectations, operating standards and accountability across dispersed operations.
Evaluate risk and align resources, leadership and systems with complexity and scale of work.
Collaborate with operational teams during pursuit and planning to identify risk and set EHS strategies before work begins.
Provide executive leadership during significant incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
