Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Vice President of Environment, Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) to lead enterprise-wide strategy for environmental sustainability, occupational health, workplace safety, and security. This executive role reports to the CEO and partners with the leadership team to reduce risk and drive a strong safety culture across all sites.

Qualifications

• Proven executive or senior-director-level leadership experience.
• Experience leading large-scale, multidisciplinary EHSS organizations.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a comprehensive EHSS strategy aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements; act as senior EHSS advisor to CEO and Board.
• Oversee regulatory audits, inspections, and interactions; lead enterprise risk assessments and root-cause analyses.
• Establish and monitor EHSS KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics; drive continuous improvement and incident reduction.
• Lead environmental stewardship programs and ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity for reporting.
• Build and develop a high-performing EHSS organization; define structure, succession, and capability development.
• Communicate EHSS strategy, performance, and risks to executives, employees, and external stakeholders; represent the company in industry forums.
• Demonstrate proven leadership in executive alignment and collaboration across Operations, Legal, and HR.
