Job summary

GS2 | B Corp™ seeks a Chief Development Officer to lead rapid data center site development, power interconnection, and construction across Texas and major US markets. The role drives land acquisition, PPAs, and executive leadership in a fast-paced growth environment.

You will guide entitlements, permitting, and pre-construction while partnering with the CEO and investors to expand nationally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership in data center development or large-scale digital infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of high-voltage power delivery and utility interconnection.
• Proven ability to source sites, negotiate real estate deals, and secure PPAs.
• Experience leading growth-focused, venture-style organizations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure hyperscale site opportunities across Texas and core US markets.
• Lead power interconnection, PPAs, and substation planning negotiations.
• Drive entitlements, permitting, zoning changes, and community engagement.
• Oversee development, pre-construction, and cross-functional exec collaboration.
