The Energy Practice in the Southwest Region offers exciting career opportunities and advancement for individuals interested in the energy sector. The Commercial Insurance team is seeking a Senior Underwriter to join our Energy Practice, with salary and title commensurate with experience. This high-impact role focuses on growing a Property and Casualty portfolio that includes Package, Automobile, Pollution, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella, and International lines. Multi-line experience is encouraged. The position can be based in Dallas, Houston, or Denver.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Underwriter in Chubb's Energy department will manage a book of business valued at approximately $7-10 million within their assigned territory. Responsibilities include developing book growth, maintaining strong internal and external relationships, and implementing profitable pricing strategies. The individual will also be accountable for the financial performance of their book, aiming for growth in the branch. Key activities involve identifying growth opportunities, cross-selling, agency planning, and regular broker and insured visits. The territory may include agents in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado.

The pay range for this role is $114,600 to $194,800, depending on skills and other factors. The position may include participation in a discretionary annual incentive program.
