As a professional in Financial Lines, your primary role will be to underwrite and actively pursue new business, servicing brokerage partners on an account-by-account basis. The Senior Underwriter/Executive Underwriter will be a key member of Hartford Financial Lines' local region, reporting to an underwriting director on the Financial Institutions Underwriting Team. This team focuses on management and professional liability products for financial institutions, including directors & officers liability, errors & omissions, fiduciary, and employment practices liability.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
3+ years of management liability underwriting experience for Senior Underwriter; financial institutions experience preferred.
5+ years of management liability underwriting for Executive Underwriter; financial institutions experience preferred.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with partners.
Self-motivated with sales and marketing skills for field distribution.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High energy, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Effective time and organizational management skills.
Goal-oriented with a focus on outcomes.

Location:
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office presence three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) at one of the listed locations: Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Brea, CA; San Francisco, CA; Walnut Creek, CA; Greenwood Village, CO; Frisco, TX; Bloomington, MN.
Compensation:
The annual base pay range is based on market analysis and may vary depending on experience and performance. The range is $101,200 - $192,000. Total compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs.
