Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions in Arlington, VA seeks an Alternate Instructor to co‑lead ASEP‑T, a five‑day executive transition program for retiring Army General Officers and spouses. You’ll step in as lead when needed, deliver modules, and help translate military experience into civilian executives terms.

You’ll design/adapt curriculum for in‑person and online delivery, coach participants on resumes, interviewing, networking, and salary negotiation, and provide counseling and post‑course

Qualifications

• Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass background checks (NCIC-III and Terrorist Screening Database).
• Master’s degree in business, management, counseling, or related field; or credentials in HR/career services.
• Military veteran who transitioned within the last ten years at the rank of O-4+ or E-9.
• Three or more years leading talent management, recruiting, or counseling General Officers or senior military executives.
• Three or more years of executive-level curriculum development and delivery.
• Three or more years working with Army Generals, senior officers, or senior civilian executives.
• Two or more years of public speaking experience.

Responsibilities

• Co-instruct five five-day ASEP-T courses per year for up to 18 generals and spouses.
• Serve as lead instructor when Primary Instructor is unavailable.
• Develop and maintain modular curriculum for face-to-face and online delivery.
• Guide participants in transition plans, resumes, networking, and salary negotiation.
• Instruct on resumes, cover letters, interviews, LinkedIn, and job search methods.
• Facilitate experiential exercises and AI-enabled activities.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and spouse curriculum support.
• Provide post-course follow-up coaching and contribute to reports.
