As a guest experience advocate, you will welcome, thank, and exceed guest expectations through interaction and recovery. You will support both physical and digital services, ensuring effortless shopping experiences at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up.

The Role of Service & Engagement Executive Team Leader

This role provides opportunities to develop skills in:

• Guest service fundamentals and team culture development
• Guest engagement, problem-solving, and resolution
• Retail business fundamentals including sales trends, inventory, pricing, and promotions
• Planning and managing department workloads
• Team recruitment, selection, and talent management

Typical Responsibilities

• Build and lead a passionate Guest Advocates and Service Leaders team
• Drive store sales and understand department contributions to profitability
• Anticipate staffing needs and recruit accordingly
• Manage training and development for team members
• Conduct development conversations and recognize team achievements
• Establish accountability through clear expectations and performance management
• Use business reporting and guest feedback to improve service
• Respond promptly to negative guest experiences and de-escalate issues
• Manage schedules to support traffic peaks and key events
• Promote digital and physical offerings to enhance guest experience
• Ensure team is updated on promotions and events
• Utilize guest survey data to improve service and coach teams
• Lead efforts for efficient guest pick-up experiences
• Work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Uphold safety, ethics, and compliance standards
• Address store needs during emergencies or regulatory visits
• Perform other duties as needed
