Job summary

Jobtailor in Maine seeks a store leader to create a guest-obsessed culture and drive store sales goals. You will anticipate staffing needs, recruit for long- and short-term needs, and coach team leaders to deliver consistent training and performance management.

Qualifications

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Regular attendance necessary.

  • Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers on store sales goals.
  • Anticipate staffing needs, create talent plans, and recruit for both long- and short-term needs.
  • Manage leaders to follow up on training completion, check for understanding, and provide continuous education opportunities.
  • Engage in consistent and meaningful development conversations with Team Leaders.
  • Personalize recognition and appreciation to reinforce critical guest service behaviors and promote a positive team- and guest-centric culture.
  • Establish accountability through clear expectations and performance management, including observing, recognizing, and coaching critical behaviors.
  • Understand business reporting and guest insights to troubleshoot and follow up on opportunity areas.
  • Respond to negative guest shopping experiences by de-escalating situations and supporting the team in resolving them.
  • Create scheduling plans with Team Leaders based on monthly and weekly workload and guest traffic.
  • Plan, manage, and follow up on organizational and operational change.
  • Demonstrate and enforce ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Address store needs, including emergencies and regulatory visits.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
