Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes seeks a Superintendent to serve as CEO of the Tribal Compact School, guiding strategic leadership, administration, and operations. The role reports to the Tribal School Board, aligning educational programs and budgets with tribal priorities and sovereignty.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Education or related field required.
  • Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Eight (8) years of management experience in education or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience with K-12 education and/or early childhood program.
  • Five (5) years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing complex government and grant funded budgets.
  • Four (4) years of experience working with Native American children, young adults and adult students.

Responsibilities

  • Lead as chief executive officer of the Tribal Compact School.
  • Oversee day-to-day leadership, administration, and operation.
  • Collaborate with Tulalip Tribes leadership to align with tribal priorities.

Education

Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field
Doctorate degree preferred
