Avis Budget Group in Parsippany, NJ, seeks a Strategic Business Manager to partner with the Chief of Staff and senior leaders on priority initiatives. You will shape strategy, lead cross-functional projects, analyze data, and prepare executive materials to support decision-making.

You will develop business cases, monitor KPIs, and identify efficiency gains through improved processes and AI-enabled solutions, collaborating across Finance, Ops, Technology, and other functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, finance, business operations, project management, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief of Staff and senior leaders to execute high-impact strategic initiatives and operational priorities.
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment, accountability, and successful execution.
• Develop business cases, perform financial and operational analyses, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Build and maintain project dashboards, trackers, and executive materials to monitor progress, risks, and key decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology—including AI—and drive operational efficiencies.
• Prepare executive presentations, research, and briefing materials to support leadership decisions.
• Collaborate across Finance, Operations, Technology, and other business functions to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Monitor KPIs and measure the success of strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted resource for special projects and evolving business priorities.
