Avis Budget Group is seeking a Strategic Business Manager to partner with the Chief of Staff and senior leadership on high-priority initiatives. You will shape business strategy, lead cross-functional projects, and deliver data-driven recommendations to support executive decisions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, project management, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment; MBA is preferred and Excel/PowerPoint fluency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, finance, business operations, project management, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief of Staff and senior leaders to execute high-impact strategic initiatives and operational priorities.
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment, accountability, and successful execution.
• Develop business cases, perform financial and operational analyses, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Build and maintain project dashboards, trackers, and executive materials to monitor progress, risks, and key decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology (including AI), and drive operational efficiencies.
• Prepare executive presentations, research, and briefing materials to support leadership decisions.
• Collaborate across Finance, Operations, Technology, and other functions to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Monitor KPIs and measure the success of strategic initiatives.
