Job summary

U.S. Space Command in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama seeks a Senior Strategic Planner to lead the War Plans Division in developing and executing joint contingency plans and space operations guidance.

You will provide authoritative insights to the Director of Strategy, Plans and Policy and the Commander, shaping national security and space operations strategy. Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to maintain clearance.
• Extensive experience in joint operational planning and space operations.
• Proven ability to develop, synchronize, and execute complex contingency and bi-national plans (OPLANs/CONPLANs).
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategic guidance for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal SME and advisor to the Director of Strategy, Plans and Policy and the Commander.
• Represent USSPACECOM at executive and international levels; synchronize planning across commands and partners.
• Direct the execution of Joint Planning Process (JPP), JOPES, and Crisis Action Planning (CAP).
• Lead wargames, analyses, and exercises to evaluate space operations COAs.
• Coordinate JCIDS-related capability requirements and prepare congressional inputs.
