Job summary

Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa is seeking an accomplished Executive Sous Chef to lead a diverse, high-volume culinary operation across restaurants, banquets and catering, room service, bar and lounge offerings, and more. You will work with the Executive Chef to drive culinary vision, develop talent, and ensure consistent quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading a culinary team.
• Hands-on leadership with coaching, motivating, and developing a culinary team.
• Formally educated culinary professional with ServSafe certification preferred/required by codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary operations across multiple outlets and banquets.
• Develop and inspire the culinary team with hands-on coaching and clear expectations.
• Maintain recipes, standards, and introduce culinary trends to the operation.
• Collaborate with Banquet and Restaurant teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Oversee food cost, production planning, inventory, and sanitation compliance.
