Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an Executive Chef to support the executive team in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment while following corporate programs.

You will lead meal preparation in accordance with corporate guidelines and collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to roll out new programs. The role emphasizes staff supervision and cost control to achieve site goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level culinary degree or equivalent combination of education and training.
• 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations.
• Ability to think on their feet and execute on the fly.
• Knowledge of food cost and its impact on kitchen operations.
• Proficient with computers: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, e-mail and Internet.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and maintain safe, sanitary environment.
• Prepare or direct preparation of meals per corporate programs.
• Support cost controls and expenditures for the account.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Supervise staff to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Coach and develop back-of-house employees to achieve operational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
