Goodwin Recruiting is assisting an established Upscale restaurant group in Florida in finding an Executive Sous Chef to join the culinary leadership team.

The role oversees kitchen operations, mentors staff, controls costs, and maintains high standards of quality and service. Competitive base salary, strong bonus program, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Formación

• 3+ years in a similar culinary leadership role.
• Upscale, full-service restaurant experience required.
• Experience leading large kitchen teams in high-volume settings.
• Strong understanding of food cost, labor, inventory and kitchen financials.
• Exceptional culinary skills with focus on consistency and presentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Executive Chef with overall kitchen management and daily operations.
• Lead, coach, develop, and hire kitchen staff, building a strong team culture.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and recipe standards.
• Manage food costs, labor, inventory, ordering, portion control, and waste.
• Oversee prep, production, and execution during high-volume services.
• Maintain top standards of food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and organization.
• Create systems to improve kitchen efficiency, consistency, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Chef and leadership to hit operational and financial goals.
• Own kitchen operations and ensure exceptional dining experiences.
