Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring an Executive Sous Chef for the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown, a property with 65,000 square feet of event space. You will lead the kitchen team alongside the Executive Chef, with responsibility for staffing, budgeting, and menu development—delivering exceptional food and service.

This role requires 5+ years of sous/lead chef experience in high-volume facilities; strong knowledge of menu design, food cost, and production planning is essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of Sous Chef or lead chef experience.
• Experience in high-volume banquet facilities.
• Knowledge of menu design, implementation, and food cost is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team alongside the Executive Chef.
• Manage day-to-day operations including staffing, training, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure quality, consistency and creativity at the highest level while maximizing resources.
• Produce and execute banquets and à la carte service with emphasis on quality.
• Inventory and cost controls.; Develop production sheets and schedules.
• Adherence to all food handling and sanitation standards.
