Job summary

Mission Yogurt, Inc. in Denver is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in daily back-of-house operations, delivering high quality and efficient kitchen performance.

You will supervise culinary staff, uphold food safety standards, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-paced airport setting. This role requires at least two years of restaurant management experience in a back-of-house environment; experience at an airport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of back-of-house restaurant management experience.
• Prior airport experience is preferred.
• Deliver superior food and beverage service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Upholds Mission Yogurt's safety, sanitation, and cleanliness policies.
• Candidates who have been a Sous Chef at a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
• Ensures all operating and quality standards are met.
• Upholds a professional and ethical management style and presentation.
• Assesses work-related issues professionally and exercises honest judgment.
• Ensures safety and security of guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
• Produce high-quality plates in both presentation and taste.
• Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
• Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
• Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff's performance.
• Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards, including Health inspections.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers!
