Executive Sous Chef Is Wanted At

Responsibilities

• Train kitchen associates to perform their duties effectively, including plate presentation and display work.
• Write schedules, evaluate, and direct all kitchen personnel.
• Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and staff.
• Handle disciplinary actions appropriately.
• Provide staff with necessary tools and equipment.
• Address kitchen problems immediately.
• Participate in departmental and staff meetings, inventory, and MOD program.
• Ensure high-quality, properly prepared food is served efficiently.
• Assist in setting goals, standards, and objectives to enhance reputation and profitability.
• Supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef and oversee utility and sanitation staff.
• Maintain records such as roast meat charts and recipe cards.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll hours.
