Executive Sous Chef is wanted at:

Autograph Collection - The Oaklander Hotel

Spirits & Tales Restaurant

NEW RESTAURANT OPENING THIS YEAR!

Responsibilities:
  1. Train all associates in the kitchen on their job duties, including plate presentation, display work, and other necessary skills for growth.
  2. Write schedules, evaluate, and direct all personnel.
  3. Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates.
  4. Write and present disciplinary actions as needed.
  5. Provide associates with the tools and equipment necessary for their roles.
  6. Take immediate action on kitchen problems.
  7. Participate in monthly department meetings, weekly staff and kitchen meetings, monthly kitchen inventory, and the MOD program.
  8. Ensure all served food is of high quality, properly prepared according to recipes, and efficiently delivered to outlets.
  9. Assist in establishing goals, standards, and objectives to enhance the organization’s reputation and profitability.
  10. Supervise the entire kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Chef, including utility and sanitation associates, providing guidance and support.
  11. Maintain records such as roast meat charts and recipe cards at all times.
  12. Ensure payroll hours are submitted timely to the Accounting Department.
