Job summary

tarte cosmetics is seeking a social-savvy Social Media Coordinator to support our Founder & CEO. Lead content creation, filming, editing and publishing while maintaining the CEO’s voice across platforms.

This hybrid NYC-area role requires onsite presence at least three days per week and occasional travel. You will manage the CEO’s content calendar, engage communities, and coordinate with marketing, influencer and creative teams to drive launches and brand moments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in social media management or executive social support.
• Experience managing social content calendars from concept to publication.
• Strong short-form video filming and editing skills in CapCut, TikTok and Instagram.
• Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and emerging platforms.
• Strong copywriting with an established voice and brand.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working with a Founder & CEO and handling sensitive information.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end creation and publishing of social content for the CEO.
• Create engaging content reflecting the CEO’s voice and personal brand.
• Maintain the CEO’s content calendar with approvals and timelines.
• Develop platform-specific ideas to grow audience and engagement.
• Monitor trends and opportunities for timely content.
• Manage social commerce accounts like Amazon Storefront, LTK and ShopMy.
• Write captions and video scripts; lead community management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support launches and events.
• Organize assets and ensure efficient workflow.
