Job summary

Civica is seeking a Senior Vice President/General Manager to lead the manufacturing site, building leadership, operations and compliance infrastructure. You will shape long-range planning, ensure safe, cost-efficient production, and align with Civica's culture and quality standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing facility design, regulatory inspections, SOP development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high performance, continuous improvement, and reliable supply of medicines.

Qualifications

• College degree in engineering or sciences with 15+ years in pharmaceutical operations management (aseptic/injectables preferred).
• Strong leadership to motivate, delegate, set expectations and monitor activities.
• Ability to involve staff in planning, decision-making, and process improvement.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix structure.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FDA compliance requirements (cGMPs, cGLPs, cGDPs, DSCSA).
• Commitment to continuous improvement via Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Excellent communication and meeting facilitation; action plans with responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Build capabilities within the site leadership team.
• Provide site leadership aligning with mission, values, and culture.
• Oversee facility design, construction, process development, and regulatory activities.
• Implement site operations strategy to maximize capacity and control costs.
• Develop SOPs and processes to improve efficiency and risk management.
• Provide strategic input for site and company success.
• Lead team morale and performance development.
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and safety are core site elements.
• Interface with FDA/DEA/OSHA/EPA and Civica executives.
• Communicate clearly within site and at corporate levels.
• Set site performance goals; collaborate with other functions.
