Job summary

Civica, Inc. in Petersburg, VA seeks a Senior Vice President/General Manager to lead the manufacturing site, set strategic direction, and build a capable operations team focused on compliant, cost-effective production of medicines.

You will drive facility design and qualification, regulatory interactions, quality systems, and safety, while delivering cross-functional leadership and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or sciences; 15+ years in pharma operations management, aseptic/product manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within a matrixed structure; able to influence without direct authority.
• Deep knowledge of FDA compliance (cGMP, cGLP, cGDP, DSCSA) and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Continue to build capabilities within the site leadership team.
• Lead site leadership to uphold mission, values and culture.
• Oversee facility design, qualification, regulatory reviews, and cost-effective manufacturing.
• Implement site operations strategy aligned with company plans.
• Create programs to maximize capacity while ensuring quality and low costs.
• Develop SOPs and business processes for site efficiency and risk management.
• Provide vision and strategic input toward site and company success.
• Establish performance and development plans for plant staff.
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and safety are core site values.
• Maintain interface with regulatory agencies and Civica leadership.
