Civica Rx in Petersburg, VA seeks a Senior Vice President/General Manager to lead the site operations, ensure compliance, and deliver cost-effective manufacturing.

You will build the site leadership, oversee facility design, regulatory readiness, and continuous improvement, partnering with Civica’s executive team. This role requires 15+ years in pharmaceutical operations and strong leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences; 15+ years in pharma operations management
• Strong leadership to inspire teams and manage cross-functional groups
• Deep knowledge of FDA/cGMPs and regulatory inspections
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction

Responsabilités

• Continue to build capabilities within the site leadership team.
• Provide overall site leadership and management to ensure mission, core values and culture.
• Lead site team in oversight of facility design, process development, regulatory review, inspections, and site approvals.
• Implement site operations strategy aligned with company plans and member needs.
• Create and execute site policies and programs to maximize capacity and ensure quality supply and low costs.
• Assist in development of SOPs and business processes to increase efficiency and risk management.
• Provide vision and strategic input toward site and company success.
• Lead site organization in teamwork and morale.
• Establish performance and development plans for staff; ensure accountability and high performance.
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and safety are core site culture elements.
• Maintain interface with regulatory agencies (FDA, DEA, OSHA, EPA) and Civica executives.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully within site and at corporate level.
• Set site organizational performance goals and collaborate with other functions.
