Job summary

University Health in Texas seeks a Senior Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy services in a dynamic, matrixed environment. You will ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care while coordinating with physicians and staff.

You must hold a Pharm.D. or ACPE-accredited BS in Pharmacy, with at least five years as a pharmacist and supervisory experience. Texas licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or ACPE-accredited BS in Pharmacy required.
• Minimum five years of pharmacist experience.
• Three years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current pharmacy practice standards, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage pharmacy services in assigned area to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (TJC, OSHA, CMS, Texas Board, USP, DEA, etc.).
• Maintain professional relations with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff to optimize patient care and customer service.
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve problems and improve pharmacy operations.
