Job summary

Stand Together is seeking a Security Manager for its Washington, DC area facility to lead executive protection, risk assessments, and security operations for facilities, events, and personnel. The role requires proactive risk mitigation, strong judgment, and collaborative engagement with internal and external partners.

The position is full-time and in-person at the Freedom Embassy in DC, with travel ~15% to support organizational initiatives and events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in executive protection, military, law enforcement, or federal protective services.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and mitigating vulnerabilities.
• Strong understanding of physical security principles and executive protection practices.
• Experience coordinating security operations for facilities, events, or high-profile engagements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security plans for facilities, personnel, executives, and events.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
• Collect and communicate risk intelligence to inform security decisions.
• Oversee access control, perimeter security, and surveillance systems.
• Plan and execute security operations for events and high-profile activities.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and partners for security support and incident response.
• Manage security vendor relationships and ensure quality of service.
• Respond to security incidents with sound judgment and appropriate action.
