Acton Boxborough Regional Schools invites applications for Superintendent of Schools, starting July 1, 2027. The district seeks an experienced leader to guide a high-performing MA public school system serving Acton and Boxborough with a strong commitment to equity and excellence.

The Superintendent will work with a stable leadership team and oversee instructional improvement, budget management, community partnerships, and strategic initiatives across all grade levels.

Qualifications

• Requires Massachusetts Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent licensure or eligibility (Massachusetts).
• Minimum of 10 years of public education experience with leadership roles.
• Demonstrated district-level leadership experience and successful change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional improvement and organizational change district-wide.
• Advance equity, inclusion, and opportunity for all students.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, and partnerships with educators, families, communities, and governing bodies.
