Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Partner Director for Retail Professional Services to lead executive-level engagements with top retail accounts. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or services sales with strong retail industry expertise.
• Proven track record of managing and growing enterprise client relationships and exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and how they apply to retail business processes (Commerce, Marketing, Service, Data/AI).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and present complex services proposals to executive audiences.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in a matrixed environment, collaborating across sales, delivery, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary executive point of contact for Professional Services engagements across a defined portfolio of retail accounts, building trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Drive the identification, qualification, and closure of Professional Services opportunities including implementation, advisory, and managed services.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and Delivery teams to develop comprehensive services strategies aligned to customer business outcomes.
• Lead the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), project proposals, and services roadmaps tailored to retail industry needs.
• Partner with delivery leadership to ensure successful project execution, customer satisfaction, and on-time/on-budget delivery.
• Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, driving growth in services revenue and deepening the Salesforce footprint.
• Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for resources, prioritization, and solutions that drive customer success.
• Maintain a strong understanding of retail industry trends, challenges, and Salesforce product capabilities to provide relevant, strategic guidance.
• Accurately forecast services pipeline and revenue within assigned territory.
