Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a seasoned executive search leader to drive full lifecycle recruitment for Associate Vice President and above.

You will partner with senior leaders, shaping strategy, intake, sourcing, screening and offer processes to deliver high-touch, inclusive hires. You will build trusted relationships with executives and HR partners, provide market insights, oversee retained firms, and ensure compliant, data-driven progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle executive searches from intake through offer acceptance.
• Conduct strategic intake meetings to define success profiles, leadership competencies, and selection criteria.
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including direct outreach, industry mapping, networking, and engagement of retained search firms when appropriate.
• Screen and assess candidates for leadership capability, business acumen, and organizational alignment.
• Drive the candidate journey to ensure a professional, engaging, and seamless experience.
• Facilitate search update meetings and provide clear, data-driven progress reporting to stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with executive leaders and HR partners.
• Provide market intelligence, talent landscape insights, and competitive positioning guidance.
• Advise leaders on candidate assessment, compensation positioning, and hiring strategy.
• Develop and maintain diverse executive talent pipelines.
• Partner with Culture & Belonging team to embed equitable practices throughout the executive search process.
• Leverage external networks, professional organizations, and targeted sourcing strategies to broaden representation.
• Partner with the Director on selection and management of retained search firms.
• Ensure compliance with recruitment processes, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate offer development, negotiations, and pre-employment processes in collaboration with HR and Total Rewards.

This role combines strong search execution with executive-level partnership and market insight.

Executive Search Execution

Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.
