• Coordinate interviews and help candidates prepare.
• Guide candidates through the offer, onboarding, and closing process.
• Develop knowledge of the Charlotte Accounting & Finance market and hiring trends.

We are looking to add a Recruiter to our Accounting & Finance team! You’ll receive hands-on training and support while developing valuable experience in recruiting, business development, relationship management, and the Accounting & Finance industry.

Position Overview:

As an Accounting & Finance Recruiter, you will connect talented professionals with career opportunities throughout the Charlotte market. You’ll spend your days talking with candidates, learning about their experience and career goals, building relationships, and helping guide them through the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Recruiting & Relationship Building:

• Identify and connect with Accounting & Finance professionals through LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and other recruiting tools.
• Conduct phone and in-person conversations with candidates to learn about their experience, career goals, and what they are looking for in their next opportunity.
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout their careers, not just during an active job search.
• Learn how to evaluate candidate experience and match professionals with appropriate opportunities.
• Develop a strong network of Accounting & Finance professionals throughout the Charlotte market.

Client & Search Support:

• Learn about our clients, their teams, and what they are looking for when hiring Accounting & Finance professionals.
• Partner with the Carolina PRG team to identify strong candidates for active searches.
• Communicate with clients and candidates throughout the interview process.
• Develop an understanding of the Charlotte Accounting & Finance market, including hiring trends, compensation, and candidate availability.
• Over time, build the skills needed to develop and manage your own client relationships.

Interview & Placement Process:

• Coordinate interviews and help candidates prepare for conversations with potential employers.
• Gather feedback following interviews and maintain communication with both candidates and clients.
• Assist candidates throughout the offer, resignation, and onboarding process.
• Help create a positive candidate experience from the first conversation through their first day in a new position.

Growth & Development:

• Receive hands‑on training and mentorship from experienced recruiters.
• Learn recruiting strategies, sourcing techniques, interviewing skills, and relationship management.
• Develop knowledge of Accounting & Finance roles and career paths.
• Work toward individual and team goals while learning how to manage and grow a recruiting pipeline.
• Build skills in recruiting, sales, networking, communication, and business development that can support long‑term career growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Political Science, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in recruiting, accounting, finance, sales, customer service, or another relationship-focused environment is a plus, but we are open to candidates earlier in their careers who are eager to learn.
