Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company in Oakland is seeking an Executive Protection Supervisor to lead the EP program, supervise Personal Security Advisors, and coordinate protective operations for the CEO and senior leaders.

You will act as a field leader during executive movements, events, travel, and crisis response, mentoring EP staff, ensuring compliance with policies, and delivering high-quality security services across workplace, residential, and travel environments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of relevant experience in physical security or law enforcement.
• Current CA Driver’s License.
• Current U.S. Passport.
• Authority to carry a concealed weapon.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational supervisor for a team of Personal Security Advisors and lead protective assignments.
• Lead day-to-day protective operations across workplace, residential, event and travel environments.
• Translate guidance from EP leadership into effective field execution and adapt to changing threats.
• Act as senior resource and Officer-in-Charge during emergencies and high-visibility operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and program standards.
• Maintain training records and drive staff development within the EP team.
• Collaborate with Epic stakeholders to align staffing and priorities.
• Plan and execute special events and executive engagements with risk mitigation.
• Provide program updates and metrics during leadership reviews.
