Job summary

Fortified Risk Group in Nashville seeks an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Executive Protection program, combining admin support, scheduling, staffing, client coordination, threat assessment support, and program compliance.

You will work with the Director to keep operations organized, anticipate needs, coordinate across teams, and handle sensitive information with discretion, including travel, events, and field assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of administrative, operations, or coordination experience.
• Experience in security, executive protection, law enforcement, or fast-moving operations preferred.
• Proven ability to schedule across multiple people and locations.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Good judgment, discretion, independence, and adaptability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, scheduling tools, and database/tracking platforms.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting insurance requirements; background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Director, manage calendar, meetings, and records.
• Build protective schedules, staffing plans, and coverage across locations.
• Coordinate with regional managers to communicate assignments and updates.
• Support threat assessment case tracking and reporting.
• Track licensing, certifications, and renewals; assist with insurance docs and audits.
• Assist HR with recruiting, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll submissions, and docs.
• Safeguard confidential information and security arrangements.
