Meta is seeking an experienced Executive Protection Lead, Operations to strengthen protective services for its executives. The role combines hands-on protection with strategic planning, risk management, and cross-functional coordination across internal teams and external partners.

You will oversee protective operations, manage complex travel, and respond to crises while continuously improving protection standards and processes in a global context.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in progressive executive protection experience, including international travel for executives and VIPs.
• 2+ years in a team leadership role within protective services or security operations.
• Experience planning complex domestic and international travel for executives.
• Ability to solve complex logistical and operational problems under pressure.
• Familiarity with protocol-driven environments (corporate/government/diplomatic).
• Strong communication and presentation skills in high-stakes settings.
• Proven project management, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and work with vendors globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage executive protection operations with a focus on risk-based deployments.
• Oversee 24/7 residential security and transportation security operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute complex domestic and international travel for high-profile executives.
• Respond to global crises impacting executive leadership, including natural disasters or threats.
• Collaborate with intelligence, security, travel, legal, and comms teams to align strategies.
• Provide direct oversight to protection agents assigned to operations.
• Manage communications with executives and staff, ensuring discretion and trust.
• Evaluate protective technologies to enhance effectiveness.
• Develop documentation, SOPs, and briefings on security operations and travel support.
• Support security training initiatives and evolve protection standards.
