Job summary

The Metropolitan Museum of Art seeks an Incident Response Manager to lead security operations, executive protection, and emergency planning for VIPs, Trustees, and events. You will coordinate with the Security Intelligence Team, oversee protective plans, and ensure the safety of guests, staff, and the collection.

Qualifications

• Experience in security management or law enforcement, with leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety codes (NY) and NFPA Life Safety Codes or equivalents.
• Ability to mentor staff and conduct risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level executive protection operations for dignitaries, VIPs, trustees and leaders.
• Develop and oversee executive protection plans aligned with museum policies.
• Coordinate with events security teams to protect guests, staff and collections.
• Lead threat assessments and protective intelligence with the Security Intelligence Team.
• Manage emergency response protocols and incident reporting.
