Job summary

Flowtec Construction, a Southeast Michigan Design/Build General Contractor, seeks a Project Executive to lead multiple project teams, shape operational systems, and mentor Project Managers and Superintendents. You will partner with ownership on strategic planning and client relationships while guiding the company’s next growth phase.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive commercial construction experience.
• Experience as a Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager, or Project Executive.
• Strong understanding of Design/Build delivery and construction operations.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships while delivering complex projects.
• Projects overseen range from about $2M to $20M.
• Excellent leadership, communication, financial management, and organizational skills.
• A collaborative, team-first leadership style with mentoring focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and financial goals.
• Lead and support project teams while fostering accountability and professional development.
• Partner with the President to improve operational processes and organizational structure.
• Build strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and partners.
• Support preconstruction through review of budgets, schedules, logistics, and risk.
• Monitor financial performance and implement proactive solutions to protect profitability.
• Establish best practices and standards across the organization.
• Assist with recruiting and developing future operations leaders as the company grows.
• Collaborate with business development and executive leadership to sustain repeat business and client relationships.
• Serve as a senior leader guiding strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
