Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a senior construction operations leader with 15+ years of experience to oversee large, complex commercial projects. You will mentor field teams, enforce safety, manage budgets, and drive efficiency across preconstruction and execution phases.

You will report to the Senior VP, IS Delivery Region and collaborate with regional leadership to align field operations with strategic growth and client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing large, complex commercial construction projects, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Proven track record driving organizational change in a growing firm.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and high judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support operational aspects of commercial construction projects in collaboration with regional leadership.
• Set standards to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met.
• Report to Senior VP, IS Delivery Region and align field operations with strategic goals.
• Lead preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, and risk identification activities.
• Coordinate project managers, superintendents, and subcontractor field teams to deliver on-time, on-budget results.
• Mentor and develop field leaders, and serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion OSHA compliance, safety training, incident reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to foster repeat business.
