Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Director in Needham, MA to provide executive‑level leadership for multiple concurrent projects and client relationships. This role oversees project teams, manages risk, and ensures successful delivery of capital improvement and construction programs from inception through completion.

You will partner with owners, boards, engineers, and contractors, lead owner meetings and executive presentations, and mentor project teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction management or related disciplines.
• Proven experience leading large-scale commercial, institutional, educational, municipal, healthcare, life sciences, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex construction and development projects for clients.
• Manage scope, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and performance.
• Serve as trusted advisor to owners, boards, executives, and stakeholders.
• Direct and mentor project managers and teams.
• Coordinate among clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulators.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Review progress, cost reporting, and schedule performance.
• Lead owner meetings, updates, and executive presentations.
• Support contract negotiations and consultant selection.
• Ensure projects meet objectives, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with business development and long-term client relationships.
