Panelmatic seeks a seasoned Project Director in Houston to lead a portfolio of high-value projects across multiple customers. You will coordinate Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, Safety, Finance, Estimating, and Sales to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strong customer satisfaction.

The role demands executive presence, commercial acumen, and a hands-on operating style, with up to 20% travel to support engagements, reviews, and manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required
• PMP Certification required
• 15+ years of progressive project management leadership experience
• Experience leading PM organizations in a matrixed environment
• Experience with complex projects portfolio management across multiple customers

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a $100M–$500M portfolio across multiple customers
• Lead programs to meet schedule, cost, margin, quality, and safety goals
• Direct Project Managers and matrix leadership across engineering, procurement, production, quality, safety, finance, and sales
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, forecasts and resource plans
• Lead reviews (internal, portfolio, risk, executive) to ensure alignment and decisions
• Lead customer reviews and portfolio performance discussions with executive stakeholders
• Ensure functions align around priorities, milestones, and commitments
• Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation, and drive recovery actions
• Maintain visibility into engineering, procurement, materials, production, testing, and delivery schedules
• Monitor revenue, cost, cash flow, profitability, and change management
• Improve execution efficiency and profitability across the portfolio
• Spend time on shop floor to review materials and progress
• Influence leadership to align cross-functional teams around objectives
• Promote culture of accountability and execution excellence
