Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a VP, Program & Project Management for the Global Payments & Trade team, located in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA. This role sits within the Client Program Office and leads high-impact initiatives with senior leadership, delivering strategic value.

You will drive end-to-end program management, develop executive materials, manage risks, and coordinate across functions to ensure timely, aligned execution and strong outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business management or related field.
• 7–10+ years of project management experience.
• Experience planning and managing large, cross-functional programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a broad range of project planning and management activities to ensure initiatives are executed effectively and delivered on time.
• Manage end-to-end project management for medium-to high-complexity initiatives, including planning, reporting, scope, risks, and documentation.
• Develop executive-ready materials translating complex information into meaningful insights for senior management.
• Provide regular updates on progress, identify and elevate issues, and propose practical solutions for informed decisions.
• Partner across functions to facilitate execution, drive alignment, and ensure coordinated delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, stakeholders, and partner teams, influencing across groups with executive presence.
• Support long-term strategic planning and business process improvements to enhance efficiency and stakeholder experience.
• Drive control and coordination across projects, enlisting support from senior managers as needed.
• Maintain awareness of industry best practices and apply them to strengthen delivery and outcomes.
• Contribute to team objectives through disciplined execution and collaboration.
