Job summary

The Apex Agency in Frisco, TX is seeking a seasoned Executive Producer to oversee client events and programs from concept to completion. You will set the vision, build the blueprint, and drive production with exceptional operational execution.

You will lead both in-person and virtual events, manage budgets and schedules, and guide on-site teams, collaborating across creative, staffing, logistics and accounting. Travel may be 30–40% depending on schedule.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience producing and managing live events.
• Several years of event and/or project management experience at an event company, marketing agency, experiential shop or on the client-side.
• Experience overseeing both in-person and virtual events.
• Excellent communication with clients and strong team leadership abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full production lifecycle from concept through execution.
• Create and manage budgets, production schedules, and overall project plans.
• Develop minute-by-minute run of show documents for live events.
• Source, contract, and manage live entertainment talent.
• Direct pre-production and on-site event teams (2–30+ roles).
• Own client relationships through proactive communication and meetings.
• Direct and conduct venue research, develop presentations, negotiate contracts, and oversee logistics.
• Direct and oversee team leads in event communications, presentations, signage, environments and branding elements.
• Work cross-functionally with Apex creative, staffing, logistics and accounting teams.
• Lead research and presentation of creative event design options, venues, premiums and gifts.
• Plan and lead event site visits.
• Set and maintain a calm, proactive tone for the team.
• Travel may be up to 30–40% depending on schedule.

• Work cross-functionally with Apex creative, staffing, logistics and accounting teams
• Lead the research and presentation of creative event design options, venues, premiums and gifts
• Plan and lead event site visits
• Set and maintain the tone for the team — always calm under pressure
• Travel can vary and may be up to 30–40% depending on event schedule
