Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking a Consultant for Executive Presentation Review & Reconstruction to be deployed remotely on contract. You will reconstruct complex executive slides in PowerPoint, refining messaging, structure, and visuals to meet high consulting standards.

The role requires strong storytelling, data visualization, and the ability to explain design decisions, with a focus on independent, high-quality work for senior audiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of client-facing experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, or a comparable advisory environment.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills, including the ability to build polished presentations from scratch and reconstruct existing slides.
• Strong understanding of executive presentation design and consulting-style storytelling.
• Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing, or storylining presentations for senior executives or C-level audiences.
• Strong visual storytelling and content-editing capabilities.
• Ability to transform complex information into clear, structured executive communication.
• Strong understanding of data visualization and effective exhibit design.
• Ability to articulate the reasoning behind messaging, layout, title, and exhibit decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong critical-thinking and editorial judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconstruct business slide images in Microsoft PowerPoint with high visual and structural accuracy.
• Refine executive presentations to improve clarity, hierarchy, visual structure, and storytelling.
• Review slide messaging and determine whether content, titles, exhibits, and layouts effectively communicate the intended point.
• Apply consulting presentation principles such as message hierarchy, action-oriented titles, horizontal and vertical logic, exhibit selection, and executive-level storytelling.
• Edit and restructure written and visual content to improve coherence, precision, and impact.
• Improve charts, tables, diagrams, and other data visualizations while preserving the underlying information.
• Make thoughtful decisions about which elements should be changed and which should remain unchanged.
• Produce a detailed reasoning log explaining the changes made, elements intentionally preserved, and rationale behind key presentation decisions.
• Ensure reconstructed presentations are polished, consistent, and suitable for executive audiences.
• Clearly communicate and defend design, content, and storytelling decisions.
• Work independently while incorporating feedback and maintaining a high standard across deliverables.
