Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an Executive Presentation Designer to translate complex ideas and data into clear, visually engaging executive presentations, primarily using PowerPoint.

You will partner with executives, marketers and cross-functional teams to elevate storytelling, maintain brand consistency, and deliver polished, ready-for-use materials.

The ideal candidate has 6–9+ years in visual design, advanced PowerPoint skills, a strong portfolio, and experience presenting to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or visual communication.
• 6–9+ years of visual design with emphasis on presentation design.
• Advanced expertise in PowerPoint as a storytelling tool.
• Strong typography, layout, color and information design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma; portfolio of executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact executive presentations for leadership and client audiences.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, visually engaging stories.
• Collaborate with the Creative team to align on standards and templates.
• Ensure brand guidelines and tone of voice across materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reusable assets.
