King’s Church DC in Washington, DC is seeking an Executive Pastor of Operations & Ministry to provide senior leadership for administrative systems, staff, Sunday gatherings, and church-wide operations.

The ideal candidate will be spiritually mature, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple ministries, developing scalable processes, and building a healthy staff culture while ensuring excellence in execution.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience leading staff, ministries, operations, or complex organizations.

Aufgaben

• Translate pastoral vision and ministry priorities into effective organizational execution.
• Oversee administrative infrastructure, operational procedures, and internal systems.
• Develop efficient workflows, clear responsibilities, communication structures, and accountability across teams.
• Serve as a primary point of coordination between Lead Pastors and administrative staff.
• Anticipate organizational challenges, recommend improvements, and resolve problems proactively.
• Build systems that support continued church growth and potential expansion to multiple Sunday services.
• Maintain regular office hours and participate in staff meetings and church-wide initiatives.
• Supervise designated administrative and operational staff and foster a godly staff culture.
• Establish clear job responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Oversee delegation and completion of tasks.
• Support staff onboarding, training, and leadership development.
• Oversee church administration, databases, communications, and Church Directory.
• Coordinate Sunday service planning, teams, and production coordination.
• Develop scalable systems and leadership pipelines for additional services.
• Maintain policies and procedures and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Regularly engage in congregational care and discipleship activities.
